Maybe nothing. Maybe everything. Maybe you know something that should be added — another fact, another perspective, a lived experience, or a connection no one else has made yet.
Leave it here. Agree, disagree, expand, debate, correct. Everything coherent goes into The Log — a permanent, searchable record of responses. Profanity may be censored, and noise may be flagged, but the record remains.
This is a continuing record of Us Now. Add your voice - (with your name or not - no strings - no trackers).
The US in our country — your country — in the U.S. it's WE the People, our history, our government, the American dream - and the reality - along with our mutual obligations with the rest of the world.
The US in our groups — our state, party, religion or sports team - the groups we are in or those we join - how they can bring us together and how they divide and separate us as well.
The US in our relationships — the most natural bond - our family, our parents, our children and siblings - and those we choose or unchoose to be closest to us - spouse, friends, partners.
The US within ourselves — the innermost us. The me and the I. Our inner voice and the one who heeds it. The us that ultimately determines what we say and do and why.
Leave feedback - Your thoughts, suggestions, and comments are welcome.

We are living inside more information than any human being in history has ever had to process.
News, politics, history, science, war, money, culture — all of it arriving at once, all of it demanding a reaction, and much of it designed to make us feel something before we have had a chance to think about anything.
USNow is a place to stop and see where we actually are.
Not just in our daily lives, but in the larger picture: what came before this moment — before us — along with what has unfolded since and how we each find ourselves in all of that.
The main screen is The Scale of Being — an interactive model of human experience organized by proximity across time. It is built as a set of orbs arranged in layers.
Not alphabetical.
Not chronological.
No feed.
No algorithm deciding what you see first.
Orbs are the topics themselves — subjects, ideas, experiences, systems, and questions we live through as individuals every day. Some are personal and immediate. Others are cultural, historical, political, scientific, or existential.
Layers show the larger story around those subjects: the forces, systems, patterns, and histories that have been operating on us — and on our ancestors — for thousands of years.
There are no steps to follow. The whole arrangement is just a way to explore and see the world from different angles.
Where you start is up to you. Where you go is up to you. Each topic orb also exists in a layer, both with related ideas, and other on-site or off-site connections.
The same content is also navigable and searchable within The Tree of Knowing page — where every topic, layer, and connection from the Scale of Being can be explored as a simple ongoing visual branching experience. Same knowledge. Different lens. The Tree is available from the top of the main screen.
The goal is not to tell anyone what to think.
It is to give us enough of the real picture — with perspective and focus — to see more clearly and think for ourselves.
Not as consumers of someone else's narrative, but as citizens, neighbors, and human beings sharing knowledge with one another.
At our own pace.
Without noise.
You're early. This is just getting started, and everything is still changing. Some sections are still being built, expanded, or reorganized.
Share the site with others. Leave a note in the “Thoughts?” section of any topic if something moves you, if you disagree, or if you think something is wrong or missing.
Submissions are kept in The Log, where they can be used for reference, future links, corrections, and additions to the descriptions you see.
You can also explore the built-in glossary — The World Compendium — where common terms are defined, cross-referenced, and indexed across the site. These words are clickable wherever they appear, opening instant definitions with links to more context.
Your participation is what makes this a site for us — not a feed, not a corporate data tool, not a government directory, and not another system designed to track, sell, or steer attention.
Just knowledge, context, and connection — at human speed.
For us. By us.
Start anywhere.
Go anywhere.
